I am in Shanghai currently and suffering.
God, I am suffering.
Not that its hot, but I seem to have contracted some terrible stomach virus again. Yes, AGAIN e___e;
I was so sick on the plane flight from Bangkok to Shanghai that I had to literally go to the washroom and force myself to throw up in order to feel better. Trust me - its not pleasant.
So between the moaning and playing my pokemon Sapphire (yes I am sad) and groaning I go and update lj on this uber-slow computer. Yay. The joys of my life.
Shopping in Bangkok was fun though. Everything's uber-cheap and the currency exchange rate is insane (40 Baht to 1 US dollar). Made me happy.. until I got sick. x_x;
And yet I am off again. Hope everyone's having a great summer :3

luckily, when i went there a few years ago, i didn't get a stomach virus (lol, i actually got it when i was in another city...) but i had other less than pleasant experiences *curses at the lack of convenience stores*
hehe, when you get back home, you might find yourself getting too used to calculating exchange rates and think things are a lot cheaper than they really are ^__~

I can totally understand what you went through. Happened to me countless time. It was a terrible feeling. I do hope that you feel better.
So when are you coming back to Vancouver? A new person is here at work and I get to train her.......
